Changing or Updating Password, Username or Account information
If you want to make your own password, you need to login. Then go to
http://www.independent-magazine.org/user/ click on the 'edit' tab. In that first screen that comes up you can change your password, username, email address, and signature (for comment postings).
Under the edit tab you will also see a link for "Contact Information". If you click that you can edit your physical address, phone, fax, website. In addition, you can subscribe or unsubscribe from the email newsletter there.
How to Post Classifieds
- First create or login to your account at http://www.independent-magazine.org/user/
- If you are not pre-approved to post classifieds (you get an error when you go to that page), then request privileges by using our contact form and choosing the category "Request Classifieds Posting Privileges"
- We will email you when you are approved, and then you can login and post classifieds.
Classifieds are approved instantly for approved members.
How to Renew Your Classifieds
Simply find your ad on our site and click the 'edit' tab above (this will only appear if you are logged in and the creator of the ad). You can check the button to renew.
